Troutdale Historical Society is hosting a nice exhibit on the Columbia Gorge Historical Highway in their Red Barn Exhibit space. If your interest is driving and learning about Americas first Scenic highway this is a good place to start. It give a good survey of information about the building, the operation, the decline and restoration that is underway. It is just a basic knowledge, nicely presented that should not take to long to visit. The Red Barn Exhibit hall is in Troutdale right a the start of Columbia River Historical Highway.
