They story goes that the month of the Columbia River Salmon fish runs were so great that you could walk from one side of the river to the other on the backs of the fish. Every tributary that reached the Columbia had a fish run. The fish run were so great that the tribe at Cello Falls had the rich hunting and gathering culture on the planet.
