New page I am starting to put together. Great place to visit.
With the Portland area being so new in the history of Western Civilization it is unusual for a piece of land to be used for more then one purpose. The area of Columbia Springs is in its 4th incarnation. First this site was used by the Hudson Bay Co. for the first saw mill in the Northwest. Next is was used for gristmill. Then the CCC built the Vancouver Trout Fish Hatchery. To day it is the home of Columbia Springs Environmental Center that includes the Vancouver Fish Hatchery.
