Cathedral Park

Cathedral Park is a neighborhood park locate in North Portland under the St. Johns Bridge. It gets it name from when you view through the supports of the bridge they look like a cathedral. Past being nice park it access to the Willamette River is what the original bank where Portland was founded looked like. With the harbor wall that is along banks downtown now it is hard to imagine what “The Clearing” would have looked like. Cathedral Park is still a place where can pull your kayak or canoe up on the shore. There is also a nice dock you can walk out on to view up the river to downtown Portland.
